WIN 98 ETHERNET DRIVER

WILL AETHERNET DRIVER FILE THAT WORKED FOR A PENTIUM3 WITH WINDOWS 2000 PROFESSIONAL OPERATING SYSTEM WORK FOR WIN 98 IF I COPIED FILE TO FLOPPY AND TRIED TO INSTALL DRIVER ?

Most likelyl no, 2000 and 98 are different platforms, 2000 is built on the NT platform so the drivers will probably not work.

What is the NIC that you are using, most 98 drivers are somewhat available, you just may need to search. Post here and I will look for you.

In 99% of cases, no it doesn't

name the Ethernet card and we may be able to help you find a driver as one should be available. Win 2000 driver unlikely to work due to Windows commands in Win 2000 not the same as Windows commands in Win 98.
