I Have DHCP server configured & all my client systems are running on WIN 98 . i have a problem in WIN 98 , when i select Obtain IP Address in TCPIP prpperties & restart the machine. the system is taking IP Address from Auto IP Configuration & not from DHCP Server. though the DHCP is running.
the system is getting IP Address 169.254.86.103 Subnet 255.255.0.0. from Auto IP configuration. whatz the cause & whatz the solution ?
