I am trying to fix my Win XP boot loader by inserting the XP CD and repairing the XP installation. My problem is that my system is shutting off as soon as I hit repair. I have the same problem when I load Win XP. My PC will go through the post and get past the XP screen. It will begin to load but then just shuts off. If I wait 10 minutes or so my computer will load everything fine. At first I thought it was an overheating issue but when my pc is running it will keep running continually without shutting off. Does any one have any ideas on what is wrong?
