Have a system I built that the motherboard is going (various issues). The manufacturer will take 2-4 weeks to repair and return, my client can’t be without PC that long. Motherboard is no longer in production so manufacturer can’t do an advance replacement.
To keep my client happy I told them I would install a different motherboard temporarily and then reinstall their motherboard when it comes back from the manufacturer (they requested this motherboard specifically when they ordered this custom built machine).
Since the windows is an OEM will it require a reactivation for the temporary board and then again when the original motherboard comes in?
