Hi all, hope you are having a good day.
We are about to redo our network, with the windows 2000 domain in the centre of it. Our client machines are both windows 2000 and NT 4.
Each user has his home folder. The setup is like that:
\\fileserver\users\user1
\\fileserver\users\user2
…
\\fileserver\users\user3
Those folders are specified in the user profiles on the win2000 domain controller, so the drive H: is automatically mapped on each logon.
The windows 2000 clients map everything properly, that is,
for user1 h: = \\fileserver\users\user1
for user2 h: = \\fileserver\users\user2
in the case of a windows NT client it always maps the same folder for every user:
for user1 h: = \\fileserver\users
for user2 h: = \\fileserver\users
I wonder if there is a way that the kixtart may be usefull in my situation.
Thanks for your help in advance.
