Win2000 message window for print

By jsarinana ·
I just recently installed DLC on my NT server and I'm sharing out a network printer. How is the status message window controlled ? How do I turn off the message window that pops up in a Windows 2000 users computer when they print ? ? ?
Thanks

Win2000 message window for print

This is the same for NT server and Win2K server - it will affect all NT and Win2K workstations: On the server, open the Printers dialog box. With one of the shared printers highlighted, click File/Server Properties; then click the Advanced tab. You'll see a check box that says something like "Notify when remote documents are printed." Removing the check will prevent the popup message from appearing on the workstations. This change takes effect for all shared printers - it's either notify for all printers or notify turned off for all printers. Hope this helps!
