Every so often Win2000 Pro slows to a crawl, usually while I’m browsing for a file or folder. I wait 5-10 seconds between each visible action on the screen. By then I know it’s time to reboot, and half the time the End Program box appears, saying that ‘CSC Notifications Window’ has stopped responding. This happens with as little as IE5.5, Win2k sp1, and Win2k High Encryption Pack on the system. Anyone know what this program is? I’ve done searches and have found nothing.
