Win2k Offline Folders and .mdb files

I know I can’t use Offline folders to synchronize Access databases. Is there another alternative. I have a client that has about 10 Access dbs and wants to sync them w/ his laptop so he can work w/ them while he is out of the office.
I need a solution for this dillema? I was hoping I didn’t need to find special software for this problem. If I do, what are some reliable, cost effective solutions for this type of situation.
