In a small peer to peer network a Win98 second edition pc freezes when opening a Lotus Wordpro document off a remote share on another W98 machine. When we copy the file locally it opens fine. We replaced the Nic, removed all protocols and reinstalled the protocols without any luck. The network is TCP/IP and pinging the nodes work fine. Other PCs can access these same files remotely without any issues. Has any Lotus Smartsuite users out there seen similiar issues on their networks? Or can it be a strange 98 issue? Thanks for any ideas you may have.
