Win98 Network config from DOS ??

By efthym ·
hello there

Is there a way to change the IP address of a computer (in the Windows environment) from DOS or the registry without having to go through Network Properties->TCP/IP Properties->(IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, DNS, etc)->OK->OK->YES !!!

This is a very tedious procedure especially if changing network settings on 40 PCs !!!

Thanx in advance

ipconfig.exe located in \windows folder allws this to be done from a command prompt under 9x.

The easy way to do it in windows 9x is by shelling to a command prompt and typing in ipconfig/? to get the command line options.
