Walter Mossberg (Wall Street Journal guru of Personal Technology) has just posted a review of the new Mozilla/Firefox v.3, currently available in beta from the Mozilla web site:
In Mossberg's tests, Mozilla v.3 stomps IE-6 and IE-7. I have personally verified this, and am now running Mozilla v. 3 beta even as I type these words.
Since my wife is partial to IE-6, it remains installed on this desktop. Mozilla politely doesn't interfere, and even imports all IE Favorites and settings. Pretty nifty.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
