Have you tried safe mode? Keep tapping F8 right after the bios splash screen disappears.

And if you get into Safe Mode,

have you tried a System Restore?

Don't tell us you've 'tried everything'; you may not know everything to try. Unless you tell us what you have tried, we don't what other solutions to offer.

You no longer have the Windows Cd or DVD?

Then before you can repair it, you need to get hold of one.

Here are some more instructions on how to do a repair WITH the Windows operating system (if at all possible you can get hold of one from a friend)

Insert your Windows XP Setup CD, and restart your computer.

1.

When the "Press any key to boot from CD" message is displayed on your screen, press a key to start your computer from the Windows XP CD.

2.

Press "ENTER" when you see the message To setup Windows XP now, and then press "ENTER" displayed on the Welcome to Setup screen.

3.

DO NOT choose the option to press R to use the Recovery Console.

4.

In the Windows XP Licensing Agreement, press F8 to agree to the license agreement.

5.

Make sure that your current installation of Windows XP is selected in the box, and then press R to repair Windows XP.

6.

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete Setup.

Make sure you have the FULL version and NOT the Upgrade version of Windows XP when you do this.

Then you can either

Buy another XP Install Disc & License and this time keep it in a safe place for when you need to Repair or Reinstall Windows.

Or take your Computer to a Professional Repairer and get them to save your Data & Settings then rebuild the OS. This will of course involve payment to the person/company involved as they generally speaking do not work for free.

Or you could try the Ultimate Boot CD available free from here to attempt to repair any problems that have been introduced into your current XP Install.

Or you could try the Rescue CD available free here

But as you say that you have tried everything possible without the Install Disc I would suggest paying a professional to repair your computer. Just make sure that they understand that you don't have a Backup currently in place and you want your Data. It's going to cost you more than a simple repair but your Data is the most valuable thing on any system that is impossible to replace.
