When I turn on my laptop the bottom of the screen has colored lines on it?The lines are opaque and they usually go away as the boot up continues. I do try to use a WordPress website, email, play Facebook games.
I bought this in 2013. This started approximately 1 1/2 years ago.
Telling me I need a new computer won’t help me. I am an unemployed, disabled, senior citizen. Social Security does not give you enough for luxury items like laptops.
What does this mean? How can I fix this?

Dell 3721 Laptop
4 GB RAM
500 GB HD
128 ssd
