We have implemented a security policy on our Windows 2000 domain specifying that users change their password every 30 days. When their passwords do expire they are prompted to change them during logon. The user then logs into the network.
However when accessing Outlook or Internet Explorer they are now prompted to enter their username and password. Once this is done they can go into the application, BUT the next time they launch the program they are asked once again to re-enter these details.
Not sure what could be going on?
Would it be better for all the users to logoff and reboot their PC’s after a password change, rather than logging in and working?
