I’m using windows 2000 pro’s backup utility to backup several extremely large databases and the like. . . approx 30 gigs.
Just last week, however, the backup started freezing on a particular file only 8 minutes into the backup. .
Is anyone aware of a size restriction per file that can be backed up? I’m positive the files aren’t being used, and I’ve also checked the power settings to make sure the machine wasn’t try to shut its self down or something similar.
Does anyone have an idea as to what could be causing the freeze? Yes, My virus scanner is up to date. No, I haven’t added new software. ^_~
