I am a Enduser help desk support IT Staff member. I recieve the following Call Description and have been requested to fix this issue. This enduser has Windows 2000 install on his desktop computer.
CALL DESCRIPTION:
I’d like to request that the “Thesaurus” feature be added to MSWord. I had it on the other machine, but it’s not installed on this one.
my spelling and grammar feature is grayed out in the options area for MS Word. Why is that?
Solution: not successful
I re-install Word97 professional on his pc.
All the feature requested by the users were already installed.
I am able to view all the features install with my Network user id and password. When enduser tries to view the feature under his Network login the features aregreyed out. The Thesaurus doesn’t even get displayed.
Is this a permission rights issue? if so how do i change these rights.
