windows 2000 vpn server

i have installed windows 2000 vpn server. I put 2 NIC label PUBLIC and the other PRIVATE. I noticed that once i up the VPN server on RRAS the PRIVATE interface cannot ping same subnet it prompt me with error message "Destination host unreachable" but once i disable the VPN server RRAS i can ping same subnet.

Please help.

This sounds like a routing issue, with the VPN off go to a command prompt and type "route print" note the results and do the same with the VPN up. Also when you setup RRAS and the VPN server which setup were you using? If this is an incomming VPN have you allowed access to just the local PC or the entire network?

Thanks assamite. I just foundout the by default windows 2000 vpn server are block by default all input and output filter. After creating the right filter all went ok.
