I was wondering if anyone could offer some advise as to which version to choose when upgrading from Windows NT 4.0 SP6 to Windows 2003 Server.
The server we are upgrading will act as a domain controller. It will only be authenticating users. What do you suggest as the version to choose?
We currently have 70 users and 90 computers. We expect to grow steadily in the next couple of years. Possibly up to around 100 users by the end of next year.
Also, we will have another server that will be running just Exchange 2003. What do you suggest as the version of windows to get for that?
My hardware meets the minimum requirements so that is not an issue.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Also, if you could list your reasoning for it I would appreciate that too.
