Windows 7 login buttons

By afsinclair ·
I've been asked to configure a Windows 7 laptop as follows:

Setup 3 buttons that are always present

button 1 - user1
button 2 - user2
button 3 - guest

Clicking on one of the buttons would log the user in without having to type any credentials.

A link on the page would be useful to create a new accoung with guest rights as well.

Is this possible? If so, how? If not, why and how close to this configuration can I come?

The Welcome Screen method is now the default. You should be able to set each account to save the password so it will not have to be typed (or no password at all, which is essentially the same).
