Windows 7 Stop error after bumping the desk

By JohnRiggle ·
I've got a really strange one. The PC has been replaced, yet I'm still getting the same error. If you bump into the desk, the pc will issue a stop error and reboot. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Stop Error 0x0000000A (0x00000000000000F8, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000001, 0xFFFFF80003256D9D)

This is a Lenova Micro pc running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

So we replaced the PC, and the external power supply. Same problem. Mounted the PC to a Steal cabinet, and still having this issue. So now I'm thinking it's a hardware issue with mouse, keyboard, Monitor, Speakers, or a never used USB Scanner. Perhaps a grounding issue?

I started by testing each one by using a brute force test.. IE I banged everything into the desk... Yeah me caveman, bang stuff in the desk, see if it breaks... Anyway.... as soon as I did this with the freaking speakers, the stop error happened again. I unplug the speakers this morning from the head phone jack on the Lenovo PC, and so far no futher stop errors. I've banged on the desk a ton of times since then, slammed chairs into the desk, no reboots.

My guess is the speakers are shorting out, and sending 12 volts DC into the head phone jack. But that's just a guess.

I've been a Dell guy for about 16 years now, so this is my first job dealing with Lenovo.

Anyone seen anything weird like this before? I'm going to let it run without speakers for the rest of the week....
