Windows Fundamental

By nathanmiller339 ·
I heard about the new Windows Fundamental operating system for legacy computers. I was wondering if Microsoft plans to release that to non SA customers. I have about 20 nodes with a 400MHz process or lower and running Windows 98 or a slow Windows 2000. Thanks.

From what I have seen that will only be available via Volume Licensing.

Frankly, spend the money on cheap 500 dollar systems and upgrade to the OS of your choice.

do you need windows?

provided it's not critical, you can use Linux or Linspear which is a great windows alternative.
