Windows Media player 9 IE script error occured on page

I am using windows mediaq player 9 on a dell windows 98 SE PC. EverytimeI start media player, I get a grey screen that pops up saying Internet explorer script error. An error has occured on this page line:392 Char:190 Error: Expected identifier, string or number. Code: 0

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Yes or No. If I choose yes. The error goes away and I can work within media player. If I choose no it’s the same thing. The problems is I need to fix this error, because everytime I START MEDIA PLAYER IT DISPLAYS AND IS ANNOYING.

I tried changing the advanced internet options. Still doesn’t work.

Upgrade java.

Try upgrading to the latest version of Java on your machine. It’s not certain but might work.
