Windows Media Player–No Video

My system is XP, with Windows media player 10.
The problem I’m having is that when I receive an e-mail with a wmv file attached, when I click to open media player and play it, I only hear the audio, the video doesn’t play. I’ve tried reinstalling, different settings, nothing seems to work.

When I forward the e-mail to someone else, it works fine.
