my windows media player has been performing illegal operations in the file WMPUI.DLL, and when ever i open Windows media player a message comes up saying "an internal application error has occured." Does anyone know whats wrong, and how to fix it. Thank you

You probably have an incorrect version of the Wmpui.dll file on your computer. This may happen when you install some third-party programs.
To resolve this issue, register the correct Wmpui.dll file again: 1) Click Start, and then click Run. 2) In the Open box, type the following command, and then click OK: regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\wmpui.dll
3) You receive a message that is similar to: >DllRegisterServer in C:\WINNT\system32\wmpui.dll succeeded.
Click OK, and then start Windows Media Player again...should work OK now
