I suspect that you have the wrong version of the wmpui.dll file. Go to Start\Run and type in the following command line:

      regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\wmpui.dll

Reboot and then restart Media Player.

      I hope this helps.

You probably have an incorrect version of the Wmpui.dll file on your computer. This
may happen when you install some third-party programs.

To resolve this issue, register the correct Wmpui.dll file again:
      1) Click Start, and then click Run.
      2) In the Open box, type the following command, and then click OK:
      regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\wmpui.dll

      3) You receive a message that is similar to:
      >DllRegisterServer in C:\WINNT\system32\wmpui.dll succeeded.

Click OK, and then start Windows Media Player again…should work OK now

      Regards,
