Problem on a HP 8710p + Vista bussiness 32bit + user with admistrative rights.
Trying to use Windows Movie Maker (WMM) included in Vista which says: General access denied error.
Im lookin for an answer while I’ve tried:
1. search for an answer on google and hp
2. made a safe mode reeeboot and try again and it says that the hardware – videocard Nvida quadro NVS 320M (driver 101.79) does not support the hardware acceleration. Eg the driver of the graphic card is not compatibile with Windows movie maker.
3. Gone to www.Microsoft to see for an update of windows movie maker WMM. There is one with an disclaimer: use at own risk only if the vista supplied WMM does not work.
Downloaded the WMM ver 2.6 instaled rebooted the HP and I got the same error as on the start.
4. Instaled the previous version of the HP graphic card driver 101.63 and the same result.
Does any body have a suggestion on this issue.
To me seems that here is a problem beetween Nvidia HP driver and Microsoft driver combatibility in Vista.
