Windows randomly switcing profile onto an unknown empty profile where you can’t do anything
This happens while a user is working into his profile and happens in random… can happen once or twice every week or two weeks. Windows seems to switch from User Profile onto another empty User Profile that has no permissions and so disables the user from doing anything.

While in this empty profile nothing works, not even start button. You can only right click on the windows icon and then you get blocked by defender. Looking in event viewer there are lot of hyper-v-vmswitch events not sure if that’s related. No HyperV role installed in the laptop though.

The only way to get the machine working again is to reboot the machine.

We have a few same model laptops and only happens to one laptop ( Lenovo Thinkpad T14 ). C:\User profiles are as normal.. no extra weird profile.

    Any help welcome
