    Windows server 2012 reboot arbitrarily

    Our customer occured the server ‘Amber LED’ warning light, our customer experienced discomfort a lot.

    So, they tried to through the replacement of the cache battery. And it was solved.

    But, additionally it comes that ‘Operating System Failure (Critical Error) and the server reboots 2-3times arbitrarily.

    We want to know what is the problem and method to solve

      That problem is something for the your customers IT-department or the company they outsourced their support to to find out.

      It’s either hardware or software. If it’s hardware they have it repaired or replace it. If it’s software they have to fix it or reinstall their OS. For now it’s anybody’s guess, but the amber LED warning makes me think the assumption it’s hardware is the best approach to start with.

      Given it’s running Windows Server 2012 it’s a safe bet this company is getting old. Hope they are ready for a new server PC. I find repair on 5+ year old servers is hit and miss as you replace this or that, the problem comes back in a few days or months.
