I have had an issue with lots of PC’s before where they basically loop on Windows startup.
The Pc runs through the old DOS type screen on windows XP and stops at Mup.Sys
you are prompted with some options e.g.
option 1 – press F8 to enter safemode
option 2 – Safemode with networking
option 3 – Last known configuration
Can someone please explain the best way to analyse this problem.
Two questions here
1 – Can i start a Windows XP home PC with a windows XP Pro disk and restore corrrupt files from that disk?
2 – How do i get a PC that is looping at startup to boot?
