Windows Update – wants to download redir

I was running Windows Update on my 2000 server and my Internet download stopped. I could not cancel it so I went into task mgr and ended the program. I rebooted and when I now try to restart the Windows Update, it wants to download redir.dll. I have the option to open, save, ….

At this point I can no longer run the Windows Update.
