Windows Vista Business limited account issue

By Puterwiz82 ·
I have a limited account set up in Windows Vista that I have it auto login to. I run Comprise Technologies SAM (Smart Access Manager), but when I go to print, nothing happens. It's supposed to open a dialog and you click Print Now. When I log off the Windows user and log back in, it works fine. If I have Windows autologon as the Administrator account, SAM functions fine. Any ideas?

This 'limited account' appears to be limited in it's scope.

An 'Admin' account appears to NOT be limited in it's scope.

Vista Limited Account

The SAM program pauses the printer, and it allows a patron who's logged on, to have a choice to print a document or not. For some reason when Windows auto logs on as the limited user, the printing function doesn't seem to work. If I log off Windows and log back on as the same user, I am able to print with no problem. It's like all the services are not loading in time, before the SAM program does.

you are using the AutoLogon feature check in Network Discovery and turn off password protected sharing if it is enabled.
