Hello, I am more familiar with the older MS OS systems, Vista is just plain giving me a fit on several fronts. I will go over them one by one in the hopes someone can help me out here.
1).Every Time I log on Windows Security Center Pops up a notification telling me that spyware/malware protection is not on, when I turn it on it will not save the setting for one, it ALWAYS looks for new definitions and obviously, they are up to to date. Why does it do this and why can’t it remember it?
2).I added my antivirus program to the program list of items allowed past DEP, but now that it is in there I cannot remove them, when I do it will not save the changes even if I press APPLY before I leave, as soon as I go back into Data Execution Prevention they’re right back. I removed that AV Program because it was no longer compatible with VISTA after the updates I recieved from MS. Go Figure.
3).Is Nortons a good All-In-One Package to use to cover most of your needs on VISTA considering that I am not having a good experience when it comes to VISTA’s Integrated security services.
I appreciate any help with regards to these issues, please be as specific as possible with how I might fix these things since I do not understand VISTA’s quirks yet.
