windows vista RC1

would it be wiise for me to download windows vistaRC1 if i am running a celeron prossesor at 2.39 GHz with 704mb of RAM my computer meets all of the specs for windows vista so that is nt a promblem

The wisdom of running any "beta" software depends on your situation and goal from running the software.

If it is critical that you be able to run all of your existing software with no new problems, then the answer is no, it is not wise.

If you have a PC that you do not rely on for any critical tasks, and you want to gain experience with Vista before it is released, then the answer is yes, it would be wise to download and run the release candidate.

Other things to consider include how you react when your PC locks up, or hardware or software does not work like you expect it to.
