Windows xp and Sticky Keys

By Doer ·
I need some help with removing sticky keys all together. My co-worker is blind and has a program he is using that doesn't work with the sticky keys. I have tried the shift key thing and to no avail. I know there's a way to fix this in the regedt or regedit32 I just can not find my notes on it. Can anyone help?

In Accessibility Options on the Keyboard tab, click on the settings button for sticky keys. Uncheck the use shortcut option.

That should take care of it.

You may have to disable the automatic turn off feature on the general tab to make disabling the shortcut stick.

By pressing the Shift key 5 times, an option windows will appear.
To remove the StickyKeys feature, click the Settings button.
Then in the resulting accessibility options window, click the Keyboard tab.
Uncheck the Use StickyKeys checkbox.
Click the StickyKeys Settings button.
Uncheck the Use Shortcut checkbox.
Click Apply, then click OK twice to exit all open windows.
