Windows XP Explorer View Backgrounds

by tominator . Updated 23 years, 1 month ago

Folks, in Win2K there exists the capability to background images on the folder views with file lists. This helps to provide some relief from the doldrums of work, etc.

In WinXP, the background capability seems to be limited to the thumbnail views of folders in a higher root folder view. However, I copied an entire folder from a directory of a W2K machine to an XP machine, and the background image was present and displayed when I opened the folder in XP.

How or where in XP is the capability to insert a background image in a file folder view?
