Windows XP Networking

By hiteshlad1976 ·
How can I give sharing password to the volumes I've shared on a network. The was possible in Windows 98, but how can I do it in Windows XP.

You wouldn't need passwords. XP handles security through permissions. You assign permissions to the share and only those users/groups you give permission to will be allowed access that share.
