Windows XP Re-Intall from Dell OEM Disk

How do I re-install or restore Windows XP on my Dell computer using the OEM disk that came with the computer, when Dell did not provide the Product Key? I used Innobate to learn the Product Code installed on the computer, but the Windows Installer says that code is not valid.
