Untill recently they talked about Wintel on PC or small sized systems. With MS Server 2003
MS have gone into large Systems.
On The Other Side There is Linux!
Now they talk about Lintel…
Linux With Intel Multiproceesor Systems.
The Hardware is similar. But The Software is different. Oracle or SAP for example work on
both environements.
