WinXP schedule shutdown of applicatons

By preemarose ·
Does anyone know if you can use WinXP to shutdown an application before actually shutdown the computer.

I have used the C:\WINDOWS\system32\tsshutdn.exe 0 /delay:0 /powerdown command to shutdown the computer which works brilliantly but I cant seem to get it to shutdown an application eg: outlook before shuting down.

Any clues please????

Marlen :
try to increase the delay time from 0 to 30 as it's the default case ,,
May be it will give the Windows some time to shut down the application First..

Already tried this

I had already tried this although it should not effect the shutdown as I have the application shutting down at 19.30 and the computer shutting down at 20:00.

Thanks for your comments
