Hello Wireless Gurus,

Please let me know your thoughts on the following:
How can you provide security to wireless LAN besides setting up MAC filters?
Dissenting opinions are welcome.

Thanks

you can implement WEP encryption.
you can not broadcast your wireless network id.
you can use directional attennae.
you can use strong passwords and do all the right security stuff: keep critical updates and service packs and virus software/definitions up to date...
you can use a bridge for building to building connections and restrict access to the other router's MAC address...
is this the kind of thing you are looking for?
