    Wireless Access Point connection problems

    Locked

    by wisemank ·

I have 6-7 laptops that will not connect to wireless access points but will connect to wireless routers. I have tried numorus fixes for “acquiring network address”, “limited or no connectivity” but have not found a solution to my problem. I can assign a static ip address and it works fine…only problem is the use can’t use the laptop outside our network then. Any ideas what to try?

If so, whose WAPs are you trying to connect to?

What are the makes and models of these laptops?
What operating system does each of them run?
