Wireless Access Points w/password

By jerenzo ·
How does one sete up a Wireless network (or several) that require membership (fee based) to access thier broadband. I am trying to figure out what is needed and what it takes to set up a WiFi network that has fee based access (i.e. the user installs thier wireless card and turns on thier browser, then they are directed to a log in page. Once they successfully log in, they are allowed to freely access the internet.)

First off, this is better suited to the Technical Q&A section.

You will get more relevant responses by people who have had similar problems if you post this to the technical Q&A section.

You should have some points from just registering at TR, offer some to the best ansewer and you will be rewarded with 1000 points when you close the question.

NOW, MOST wireless routers have WEP encryption system. All you need to do is provide a custom key and all you users will be given that specific key when they sign up with you. Once they have the key, they can log in.
With the somewhat vague explanation of why you need to track users, this one is easy and should be built in to you router.

If you want better answers, again, post to the Technical Q&A section and provide details of what your reasons for tracking logins are.
