Hi I bought a router and inadvertently left it in my house I rented in grad school. I have my wireless card in my laptop and it is setup to automatically find an IP address. In my parents home it gets the wireless signal their router but wont let me access any webpages. When I try to reapir it under wireless properties it says I have to renew my IP address. Do i need to buy another router all over again? why can’t I use my mom’s wireless network? thanks
