Wireless disconnecting after 9 minutes.Needs reboot to connect

Acer Aspire 5100
I have Dumped Vista and installed XpPro.
First wireless was great, but now it will disconnect in 9 minutes and will need reboot to reconnect.
Can anyone please suggest any ideas for a fix?

Hi Leigh..

I recommend you to try updating the Wireless driver first and then check the Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) and check if the Security options are set to high.
If the Power management is set to Power saving, then it can disable the devices that are working, u have an option allow windows to turn off the device to save power, uncheck that option frm Power Mgmt.
To Open Power mgmt, right-clk on desktop > Properties > Screen Saver tab > Power settings.
