Wireless keyboard and mouse not working on my laptop

i cannot get my wireless keyboard or mouse to work on my laptop(INFINITY M380 Laptop). when i plug it in it starts a hardware scan automatically and tries to install saying its a usb hardware interface and then says that the data in not valid. i then got the correct drivers off the net and installed them fine yet it does not work. i have disabled the keyboard and mouse on the laptop, but it still works using those keys and not the new keyboard and mouse. ive check the keyboard n mouse on another pc and it works fine. plsssss help
