Wireless Networking

By wolfbro001 ·
hey guys, i tried searching for a similar topic but didn't get very far. I've just set up a wireless network, and want to be able to access the internet from my laptop. at the moment, my laptop is registering an internet connection and is communicating with the ISP, but I can't figure out how to configure my browser. I used to do IT years ago (in the days of Dial-up), but have no experience when it comes to this. would anybody be able to give me a general idea of how to set up the browser on my laptop (IE7 i think :-\)

Delete all dial up connections,go into internet options and tick the box 'automatically detect settings' and that shoul be it.Make sure you use the windows zero configuration utility to connect to the service. You can access this by double clicking the wi-fi symbol on the taskbar. Then dial the default gateway through internet explorer.
