Does anyone have an idea on how to keep Vista’s embedded Atheros driver from loading? I have disabled and removed through device manager. At the next boot will automatically install it again even if I cancel installation. It is only a 54mps driver and I sure would like to use the 108 Trendnet PCI card I have in the PC. And I cant even find a registry key for the Atheros in the registry but it won’t go away. Do I need an exorcist to remove this demon?
