WOL seems to work but only for a few hours after complete shutdown

so i am trying to get the wake on lan functioning here in this building but i cant seem to narrow down this last and final problem.

Bios has the wake on lan setting enabled (only one setting i could find)
the NIC cards power management settings are checked.
Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
Allow this device to wake the computer
Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer

All three are check, i CANNOT check the last two boxes without that first one checked, it grays them out.

Under the Advanced tab of the NIC card i also have it checked to where it accepts both a magic packet, and packet frames.

I have started up computers across the LAN and the WAN the problem is not sending at all, i have that down..the problem is that after like....6-7 hours if the computer wasnt started and has been powered down completely and consistently then it will not wake up...BUT if i go to the pc after its been asleep for 5 hours, and wake it up, its fine, its like after a certain amount of time its saying "ok, workday is over forever, not starting back until you physically push me"
I'm at a loss. anyone have a clue?

The machines range from Dell's GX520,745,755 and its a combination of Windows xp and windows 7, there seems to be two different type of NIC cards in this group but all have show the same results.
Nic cards:
Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller
Intel(R) 82567LM-3 Gigabit Network Connection
