Word 2000 and 1985 dates

We have a problem with one PC in the office, on Word 2000 and Adobe Acrobat it is putting all the dates as 1985 when saved, if you look at th file properties it showsthe correct date. All PC’s are at the same software service pack level. Have never come across this, any ideas?
