Word 2002-Menubar add Recentl Used Files

How can I add a list of files from the Recently Used File List to a list of files I desire access list? Some time ago I read a tech note on how to do this. My Normal.dot template got trashed and the item disappeared from my menubar and I forgot how I had added the menubar item.
