Word labels and envelopes.

By mslonecker ·
A user wants the label outline to be shown. The OS on the machine is XP with Office 2000 professional. Here are the steps she is taking:
Selecting Tools/Envelopes and Labels
On the Labels selection Option, Avery Standard, 5160 Address, Ok.
New Document.
The table for the labels is place on the document but I have not been able to get the outline for each label to appear.

Is there an option somewhere that I have not been able to find?

Any help will be apperceived.

You need to go to:
Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Display
Select the "Appearance" tab.
Change the Scheme to "Windows Classic" or "Windows Standard" I forget what it is called.

This will change the line color of the lines. When users have spare time some of them modify the color scheme and then you cannot see the lines.

I am able to duplicate this issue on my machine. When I made the above changes it did not resolve the issue. I logged off and logged on as Administrator while on as Admin I opened word and the label outline appeared. Looked at the settings. The only thing I noticed that was different was that the properties the start menu was set to classic. I made these changes logged on as an myself opened word still not able to get the label outline to display. Anything else?

I knew it had to be an option somewhere I just couldn't find it. This corrected the issue.
